Every dock is designed for the site where it will be used and built specifically for that site. Whether your site has drastic water level changes, current, waves, wind or tricky terrain, your dock will be built to stand up to weather, water and use. Slips, boat lifts, swim ladders, whip cleats, lighting and other accessories can be installed to your specifications. Because our docks use a standardized hinge assembly, you can order additional sections of dock and have them installed at any time.
Aluminum Docks Built to Last
Wood docks have a tendency to warp, rot and pull apart. Steel docks rust no matter how many times you paint them because of the penetrations caused by fasteners. At Northwest Docks, we construct aluminum-framed docks which are weatherproof and built much stronger than they need to be for everyday use. This enables them to withstand impacts, extreme weather and constant movement. We use composite decking that is splinter-free, durable and easy to clean. You never need to sand, paint or repair damage caused by weather. Your children can run and play on our docks without any fear of splinters.
Aluminum Docks are Green
Not only are our docks extremely durable, which prevents them from turning to garbage that must be replaced, they are also very eco-friendly. Pressure treated wood leaches toxins into the water until the wood is unprotected and rots. Foam floats break apart and pollute the waterways and ocean. Corrosive metals put pollutants into the water until they eventually fail. We use foam-filled polyethylene box floats for floatation and composite decking that is splinter-free, durable and easy to clean. Our docks show up clean, are very inert and never pollute the water with toxins.
Aluminum is 57% recycled, is extremely durable and never requires paint. The decking is made from composites that are nearly 100% post consumer material. All fasteners used are stainless steel, continue to look new and will never have to be replaced. NO part of our docks needs to be painted. The only thing you need to do is mop your dock clean. The decking, frame and floats are guaranteed.
